He was born Snowhill, Worchester County, Mass. 23 Aug. 1767. He was killed at Orrington, Maine, by a cannonball fired from the English Sloop of war Sylph commanded by Corrodore Barry Sept. 3, 1814. This is from the records of the Riverside Cemetary where he and his wife Elizabeth are buried, in N. Bucksport, Maine. His son, Capt. Littleton Reed and wife Cynthia Lewis (Lewes) and their descendants are also buried there. I have seen the graves. I need to know his and her parents. (William's) The usual brick wall! Any help would be much appreciated. Jan
