Hi Ruy, I just did a swing thru mid coastal Maine looking for Reeds. In Bucksport, Hancock, Me., in the Riverview Cemetary in North Bucksport (almost to the Orrington line) I found an found an Eleanor B. Chipman married to my g. g. uncle, Capt. Littleton Reed. As there is only one date on all the stones I take it as the death date, but could be wrong. So--I think she died Oct. 29, 1894 at 74 yrs.. In the same cemetary there is another Chipman plot that has Charles B. Chipman (broken sunk stone-no date), his wife Marline July 9, 1889 at 56 yrs.. There follows some of their children and then Silvanus 9/27/1872 86yrs. & wife Sarah 1/21/1865 72yrs. & some of their children (no Deborahs at all) and Asenath 7/14/1903, 83yrs. No wife. It is just a fluke I got this batch as they were on page I copied (of Reeds) There could well be more Chipmans there . I got my info from the Library in Bucksport--they have a binder of the cemetaries in Bucksport and the burials there. The phone # for that particular cemetary assn. is 207-469-7074, Chris Johnson. I hope this may help--at least you know where some of the Chipmans went! Jan Wilson
