Would he be one of these Mayflower ***Settlers? Is there more info that someone could share with me, either ***thru this list or privately? Hi, There was a Samuel Starr, born about 1641 in Plymouth Colony who married Hannah Brewster whose grandfather was the Mayflower passenger and elder of the Plymouth Church, William Brewster. According to the Brewster MFIP he was the son of Dr. Thomas and Rachel Starr and grandson of Dr. Comfort Starr of Boston (Brewster MFIP p. 23). If this is your Samuel, he would not himself be a Mayflower passenger, but his wife was descended from one, and this Samuel was a distinguished man in his own right and the son and grandson of distinguished men. While born in Plymouth Colony, this Samuel lived his adult life in New London, CT. Do you have some more information to confirm whether this is your Samuel?
