Can anyone recommend a good movie that somewhat faithfully captures the time and mood of the early settlers? Thanks. Steve Ferriss Yes Steve - it is called "THE AWAKING LAND" with Hal Holbrook - Elizabeth Montgomery - [Bewitched] Jane Seymour - etc. It was a mini series on TV a few years ago - I think it was shown not too long ago on the History channel - [I think] I just love watching it - it is very good.. show's you how the land developed and a good insight to the people that lived then. IF you find it on CD's let me know, I would love to have it in my collection.
