Was there another child born to a Mayflower passenger that first year? >> I found him in "The Great Migration" Volume II, C-F" by Robert Charles Anderson, George F. Sanborn, Jr., Melinde Lutz Sanborn, ©2001 " On 13 April 1635, "Peter Cooper", aged 28, was enrolled at London as a passenger on the Susan & Ellen [Hotten 59]. Under the comments section it says he has been identified as the man of the same name who appeared in Rowley by 1641, but there are reasons to doubt this conclusion......no record for Peter Cooper in New Eng. for the years between 1635-1641.....the passenger of 1635 was already 28, and he would have been 34 when the first child was born, and most of the early settlers of Rowley came between 1638-39. They go on to say that while the 1635 man and the Rowley man might be the same is not impossible, it is far from certain. Hope this helps! Dianne
