I just read the article "DNA Analysis of Y-Chromosomes Show Only One of Three Sons of Gershom Rice to be a Descendant of Edmund Rice in the Fall 2002 issue of the "New England Ancestors" from NEHGS. Interesting article. What would happen to membership in GSMD if there was a DNA test required (of the men at least). Oh the secrets and surprises!! P.S.
