    3. BRANT REUNION 2002 ANNOUNCEMENT THE BRANT FAMILY ( most particularly Roswell Brant, s/o John Brant and Hannah Bosworth, who moved from Hampden Co., MA to settle in Delaware Co., NY @ 1800 where he married Abigail Goodrich at Hamden in 1808) and related families including JAMES, SIGNOR, MACDONALD, GOODRICH, KILMER, ROBINSON & SHAW DID YOU KNOW THAT YOUR ANCESTORS CAME ON THE MAYFLOWER? Yes, if you are a direct descendant of John Brant and Hannah Bosworth, then your fore- fathers and mothers arrived in this new world on the Mayflower in 1620. This means you are eligible to join the GSMD, General Society of Mayflower Descendants. Our direct descendants making the journey were John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley. I f you have a computer handy, these are two good websites about them and the Mayflower in general: http://members.aol.com/calebj/mayflower.html http://www.mayflowerfamilies.com and http://americanrevolution.org/johnhowland.html. If you want to know more about our descendants specifically, you'll have to come to the reunion!!! WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR ANCESTORS WHO FOUGHT IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR ? John Brant, Isaac Goodrich and several other ancestors were Revolutionary War veterans which entitles you to become members of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) or the SAR (Sons of the American Revolution). The DAR and, I believe, the SAR both have scholarships that they award annually. Who are these people, John Brant and Isaac Goodrich, and how do I relate to them? If you want to get the full scoop, get thee to the reunion!!! WHO, WHEN AND WHERE ?????
