Any suggestions for published material? ________________ Steve, The first thing you should do is send a synopsis of your line to Plymouth and have them search for a well documented paper. (Send it along with $5 to General Society of Mayflower Descendants, P.O.Box 3297, Plymouth MA 02361.) If they find a previously approved, well documented paper that matches yours they will send you a copy and you can use the sources from that paper up to the point where your lines branch off. This step could take care of your first 5-7 generations if successful. Also, you should be looking primarily at vital records wherever possible. For example, the Browns resided at Swansea, therefore use the Swansea vital records to prove all events that occurred there. If you don't have these, let me know and I'll provide the source citations for you (if you send me the dates, etc.). Check out the web site below where you will find info on the documentation requirements (applicable to each state society) and as well, a link to the web site for the Mayflower FAQ. Susan E.
