    3. I want to thank everyone for their replies. I have found this list to be an invaluable resource. Right now I have a little egg on my face. In my message I stated Elizabeth Gibbs was daughter of JOHN Gibbs & Judith Bates. Her father's name was JOB. (That's what happens when you get out of bed because you cannot sleep and try to write a well thought-out message.) ;) One of the arguments I have written in my draft article is the fact that Elizabeth Gibbs, daughter of Thomas & Joanna, was baptised after Elizabeth Gibbs, wife of Samuel Muxom, had her first child. Thanks again for everyone's help Ray Wawebft@aol.com wrote: In a message dated 07/10/2002 8:42:19 AM Pacific Daylight Time, chandler@firstva.com writes: << But I'm confused (what's new?). >> Me too! I thought that Elizabeth, the daughter of Thomas and Dorothy Gibbs was baptised with her sibblings on 28 Aug 1737 which would have made "our" Elizabeth Gibbs Muxom already married to Samuel and very unlikely to still be named as Elizabeth Gibbs on a baptismal record. Also, wasn't our Elizabeth from Rochester and not from Sandwich like the Thomas and Dorothy family??
