    3. Patricia and list, Although it does not directly answer your question, perhaps this information might be of interest to you all. In the book entitled "The Woodworth Family of America - Descendants of Walter Woodworth of 1630 Through Six Generations" by Jeanette Woodworth Behan, the following is stated about Elizabeth... "Walter 1 Woodworth, the progenitor of the Woodworth family in America was born in England about 1612 and died in Scituate, Plymouth Colony, early in 1686; parentage unknown. He married about 1639/40. No record has been found of his wife's name. She was living in March 1676 when a court case mentions Mehitable Woodworth's parents, but had died by 26 November 1685, when Walter made his will, naming ten children. Some have speculated that Walter married Elizabeth Rogers, the daughter of Thomas Rogers of the "Mayflower". Elizabeth Daniel, authoress of Thomas Rogers, Pilgrim and Some of His Descendants, 1980, states "Whether Thomas Rogers really had a daughter Elizabeth is at all is a matter of theory. There are records in Leyden, Holland, that suggest that two daughters lived there with their mother, but there is no absolute proof. Whether one or both of these possible daughters ever came to America, we don't know..."". I'd be anxious to see if anyone has any other information on Elizabeth as there is no other reference to her in this book. Mayflower Increasings, page 108 lists her as a daughter of Thomas Rogers and Elsgen, however there is no further information listed and I found no further information on her in Mayflower births and deaths.. I have her in my files with a husband named Walter Woodworth. He was born abt 1612 in England and has a death date of 02 Mar 1684/85 in Scituate MA. I have Elizabeth with a birth date of 26 Dec 1608 in Leyden, Holland and a death date of 26 Nov 1685 in Scituate. It's possible/probable the birth information is inaccurate Does anyone else have this line who can confirm that she actually came to this country and when? Also listed I find another sister named Grietgen/Margaret as living in 1622. Are there any further records available regarding Elizabeth and Margaret? ==== MAYFLOWER Mailing List ==== Check out the web page of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants at http://www.mayflower.org/

    3. Anderson, Robert Charles, "The Great Migration Begins: Immigrants to New England, 1620-1633" contains the following: ELIZABETH, bp. 26 December 1609; living at Leiden in 1622, perhaps came later to New England and married there [TAG 52:110-13; Bradford 446]. Stott, Clifford L., "The English Ancestry of the Pilgrim Thomas Rogers and His Wife Alice (Cosford) Rogers," The Genealogist, 10:2, also has info on the existence of Elizabeth. Bradford tells us, "Thomas Rogers died in the first sickness but his son Joseph is still living and is married and hath six children. The rest of Thomas Rogers's came over and are married and have many children." However, I do not think anyone has proven whom Thomas Rogers' daughters married.
