A double name like Mary Jane would have been very uncommon at that time, plus I've never seen her with a maiden name given. According to the best source I've seen (Caleb Johnsons's article in the July 1998 _The American Genealogist_, summarized at http://members.aol.com/calebj/mayflower.html), her maiden name isn't known. Has there been more recent research that provides a name for her? BJ
