Jacob^2 (Francis^1) Cooke m. 18 Nov 1669 in Plymouth Elizabeth (Lettice)Shurtleff. Who was Elizabeth's first husband? Wood's "Francis Cooke of the Mayflower, The First Five Generations", p. 46, says she was Thomas Shurtleff's widow. Anderson's "The Great Migration Begins, Immigrants to New England, 1620-1633", p. 470, says she was first married to William Shurtleff. Which one is correct? Both references cite the "silver book", vol. 6, p. 13, as their source, so one of them has made a transcription error. A quick lookup in the silver book would be much appreciated.
