I've got the marriage references for Mercy and Wyatt, photos of their grave sites. I thought I have Nathaniel (Wyatt's father's) grave, but I don't. I do have Rebecca White Searl's though-- so if you find Nathaniel Searl sr., I'd be interested in that too. My record on him says he died in Vernon Township. In looking for Abel and Seths burial place, I wonder if the Greenup Co. courthouse has records of land transfers etc.that would give a clue about their property. That would be my best guess if they are not buried in a public cemetery-- I'm sure the person you ran into will know if those kinds of records were maintained in the county. Anyway, there should be a legal description of the land somewhere that the family owned, and I bet that would be where they were buried. I don't know if anyone tracked down the area churches from that day either-- possibly they could be buried in a church yard if they were churchgoing folks. They weren't at the White cemetery in Scioto were they? Possibly where Daniel is buried (wasn't that where Daniel was buried?) Wish we were there to snoop around with you-- it's addicting isn't it? Thanks for following up-- Vic & Kathy vic@psu-xa.org
