I'm hoping that someone maybe able to provide a possible identification of the source for the following Information I found in handwritten notes from (best guess) late 1960 thru early 1980 timeframe in some of my mothers personnel effects. I do know that her interest in this research started around 1970. Top of first sheet says from page 5 mine page 7 of Evilyns (or Evelyns, not sure of spelling) Book (can anyone provide a possible clue to the identify of this book) 1. Edmond Rice born about 1594 in Sudbury, England * miles north of London settled in Sudbury, Mass 1639, died Marlboro, Mass 3 May 1663. had 12 Children, 1 lived only 9 days. from page 6 mine page 31 2. his 3rd son Thomas born in England 1620-1626 ? died 16 Nov 1681, married Mary King. moved to Sudbury, Mass and there had 6 children, than moved to Marlboro, Mass and had 8 more Children. 2 died young page 25, mine 33 3. his 7th child Ephraim born in Marlboro, Mass 15 Apr 1665 died 25 Oct 1732 died in Sudbury? married Hannah Livermore 22 Feb 1688 or 1689. Resided in Sudbury. died 21 May 1724 had 11 children page 67 4. his 7th child Gershom born 17 Jun 1703 married Elizabeth Battel (battle or Battelle) of Dedham or Sudbury on 27 May 1728 had 9 children 5. his 5th child Nathaniel born 23 Apr, 1739 6. his son Rev. Nathaniel born 1768, died 6 Dec 1825, married Amy Clark of Hawley, died 7 Jan 1819, born 14 May 7. son Moses born 1799 died 1853 married Ann Smith 1829. born 1798, died 1896. 8. daughter Emeline Rice 1841-1922 married Clarence Milton Long in 1865. he was born 1840, died 1914. Marriage of Mary E Rice to Clarence Milton Long is in Virtual Records of Shelburne where her place of birth is listed as Colrain and her parents as Moses Rice and Ann Smith of Charlemont.
