Searl and Mercy White Searl are buried at what is currently the "Wheeler Cemetery", formerly the "Mault Cemetery" in Scioto County, OH. This is located at the top of a hill above a farm. It is a beautiful setting overlooking the valley and is well maintained. DIRECTIONS: To find it-- Follow SR 139 east of the SR335 intersection at Minford, OH to Kentucky Trail (Co Road 19). Turn right (south). Go 0.5 mile to a gravel drive on left. It's immediately past a house, and to the left side of a large field sloping downhill toward you. The entrance is also the driveway to the farmhouse. Pass the farmhouse and continue up to top of hill following the left edge of field-- you'll be driving on grass at that point. The cemetery is on the left under a grove of trees. Here are the markings on Wyatt & Mercy Searl's graves MERCY SEARL Died Apr. 17, 1864 Aged 49 Yrs. 1 Mth & 9 Ds.
