I've completed my update of Pilgrim Family Societies and have posted them at our Canadian Society web site. There are 4 societies that I have sent letters out to today, trying to find out if they are active or to confirm contacts & addresses (Allerton, Billington, Bradford, Eaton). These will be updated once I hear from each society. I just want to say that in the research I have done on these societies recently I have learned a great deal about them and am impressed at all they are trying to accomplish on behalf of, or should I say, in memory of, our ancestors. Many now have websites - check them out, they're great! The membership fees are extremely reasonable as well. Some of these societies are struggling with low membership and need support. Others are involved in projects which require our continued support. Many of them meet annually and also at Plymouth during the General Congress of the GSMD every 3 years. Sounds like they have a great time! Thanks again to those who offered help as I updated the info, it was much appreciated. Susan. www.rootsweb.com/~canms/canada.html
