Ginny, I checked Taunton VRs with no luck, then Middleboro - found an Abraham Pierce & two marriages and children, but no wife Lydia. Then started checking other sources for deaths - Middleboro Deaths by Wood and Old Cemeteries of Southeastern Massachusetts, p.110 - where I found the deaths of an Abraham Peirce and wife Lydia: Abraham d. 24 Nov. 1795, 54th yr. Lydia, wf of Abraham, d. 23 May 1817, ae 78. They are buried in Lakeville in a small cemetery in a field. Note that if Lydia was born ca1739 she could not have married Abraham in 1746. My next step would have been to check the Bristol co. & Plymouth co. VR CD however I'm having problems with my CD ROM drive and can't access it right now. Perhaps someone else with these CDs could do a name search for Abraham & Lydia for you. If there is no record of them in Taunton or Middleboro, perhaps events were recorded in a nearby town. (I've also checked Berkley.) Best of luck, Susan. www.rootsweb.com/~canms/canada.html ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ginny Core" <vcore@tctwest.net> To: <MAYFLOWER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, February 16, 2003 4:22 PM Subject: [MFLR] RE: MAYFLOWER-D Digest V03 #40 > > On my way to completing Thomas Rogers, I am working on proofs for the > following and wonder if Richmond Family book would be accepted as a > proof/source.
