One more thing to add to Kathy's post about Bible references to Abiah. This is from Strong's Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries: H29 Abiah - From H1 and H3050; father (that is worshipper) of Jah; Abijah, the name of several Israelite men and two Israelitesses:-Abiah, Abijah. Strong's is keyed to the KJV. So, the spelling could be either Abiah or Abijah or any other variant since there was no consistent standard for spelling rules in the 1600's. IHG, Cathy B.
