Dianne, It sounds like you are doing very well with your documentation, however it's difficult for me to judge your sources without actually seeing them. All I can say is that you make sure you have proven parentage of your line carriers with a primary record wherever possible and you have used primary records to prove your dates whenever possible. (Primary records: birth/marriage/death records, church records, bible records.) Secondary sources such as town and family genealogies, obits, census, (to name a few) are also acceptable when primary sources are not available. The only exception to this is any date in the 1900's which is expected to be proven with a long form primary record (b/m/d records). Lacking a document to prove a date sometimes cannot be avoided. Lineages are still approved when the dates of one or two events cannot be supported with a source. (We try to narrow an event down to "before/after 11 Jan 1863", etc. so that we at least have an idea of the time frame.) One comment on your data below - you say you need the m/c for Betsey Ann Smith's parents. Your line below appears to go thru her husband, Elisha Blossom, so why are you looking for her parents' m/c?
