The reply button does not bring the previous message into the response. The only way the original message is brought into a reply is if it is highlighted before hitting the reply button. Only then is it brought into the new message as a copied message. What people forget to do when they bring in copied messages is to go back and cut out the unnecessary garbage below the subject line and any other garbage below the signature blocks and that sort of thing. I think if more people took the time to clean up a copied message there wouldn't be so many complaints. I have noticed sometimes that a copied message is also copied several times because someone has copied a copy and attached all the copies to their reply. If people would pay a bit more attention to what they are copying and leave out a lot of the garbage there wouldn't be so many problems. Christie Trapp
