    1. Re: [MFLR] General - P.S. to Kess about this board...
    2. Hello again, I just made a post about how I do not "feel worthy enough" to be on this board. Well, I would like to make a suggestion........ If you all desire to complain about some un-deserving people, would you kindly email each other humbly and privately, with respect, instead of making this list seem uppity and unwilling to help people like myself ? sometimes a "tid-bit" of info is a great help to us. Other people will see the GOSSIP that is happening on this list, and will leave this board. Yes, you all should be proud of finding your family lines back to the Mayflower. But PLEASE stop the gossip, and talk privately between yourselves if you have a problem "handling people". Respectfully and Sincerely, Darlene

    3. I believe the responses you have seen to the original poster were AS I DID only a response to HIS question. Or she, can't remember. Someone asked how to deal with something and a couple people answered HIS/HER question. No one was speaking I believe in an uppity way ESPECIALLY ME because I too came into this list thinking the same thing and have learned on here you pretty much have to just keep your mouth shut because those ON this list that have been here for some who have Mayflower descendants to take GREAT pride in that esteem like they are blue blood or some kind of royalty. I'm going to get it about this but maybe those who act that way will take these emails to heart. YES we are all here to discus our Mayflower ancestors but sometimes I think...... if they are already documented why keep beating a dead horse... no pun intended. Aren't we all here to learn and ask questions and try to get help from those of you AND me who have the books that can do some lookups for people????? That's what all the other lists are doing is helping people and sharing information. No one is asking you to hand over YOUR hard work. Everyone has to prove their own lines but how are we ever able to build the memberships and ancestry of the Mayflower lines if we don't help those seeking to prove their lines. Ok there's my soapbox for the day. So let's take this NOW OFF LINE. I just didn't want to see these two poor people get blasted by the members of this list and totally prove their points.
