That is one way. The other way is if in your tools on "sending" you can turn that off and it won't include the email to which you are replying. Third way is when you reply just highlight down and CUT. Before you send. BUT you'll never get that to happen because people don't even change the subject lines that go on endlessly and in the body of the email the subject has now changed 5 times. People are prone to just hit the REPLY key and never notice that sometimes depending on the list..... it goes TO the list or it goes TO the individual personally, that is why private things end up on the lists. Nice thought. The problem with creating a new email is often you don't know to whom they are replying unless you can see the previous email. I think it is a lose lose situation somehow.
