    1. Re: [MFLR] MAYFLOWER Digest, Vol 1, Issue 35/Joseph Doty
    2. GEANELLEN
    3. I surely appreciate all the data and help that is going on abt my great great grandfather Joseph Doty. I have no where at any time found him living in Minnesota. BUT...that's not saying he didn't. On his marriage record to Eliza Coffy/Mrs. Monda it is stated that they both are of Mishawaka, Indiana, yet I have not been able to find any record that either one of them lived there. again, they might of, but not long enough to create any sort of record. In Eliza's obit it says she belonged to the M.E. church. but again, I have not been able to find any church records showing either one of them being a member. I have not been able to find any death record of Joseph, except his obit which states he died at his sons (Willis) home in Lookout, Woods Co. OK; and I know that he is buried at Alva, Woods Co. OK, as I have been to his grave site. His tombstone is a military civil war one. Eliza didn't have a headstone, she is buried according to the cemetery records right next to him. So I bought a small headstone for her and at the bottom of the stone I had them put:"great great grandmother of Geanellen." hoping by doing that, that someone else researching the family and visited the grave sites, would see my name and try and get in contact with me. I have gone to allot of different means trying to let people know who I am and what I am looking for. Anyways...thanks again for all your help, ideas and suggestions, hopefully we'll be able to "crack " open this tightly closed case soon. geanellen. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, November 01, 2006 10:00 PM Subject: MAYFLOWER Digest, Vol 1, Issue 35 > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
