I'm sorry to ask such an elementary question, but were there family connections between the early Virginia settlers and Plymouth Colony settlers? Thanks, Carol Kennedy I believe that the destination of the Mayflower was Northern Virginia, a place near Cape Cod. And the Pilgrims landed right where they were headed. It would have been rather simple if they were off course in December to restock with water and a few supplies and head south if they were off course. Dave from Long Island.
