Well folks I just received my confirmation email from my local historian that the Historian General in Plymouth has approved my membership as a Descendant of Isaac Allerton and wife Fear Brewster. I can now state for certain...... my line is as follows: Isaac Allerton - Fear Brewster Isaac Allerton - Elizabeth Willoughby Frances Allerton - Samuel Travers Elizabeth Travers - John Tarpley Travers Tarpley - Elizabeth Sydnor Frances Tarpley - Rawleigh Chinn Elizabeth Chinn - John Wilson Rawleigh Wilson - Callia Rice John Harvey Wilson - Mary Jane Adams Flora Wilson - Ottis Skiles Sylvia Skiles - Golden Crosnoe (not married) Bertram Skiles - Lorena Meadows ME - Janean Ray Sure has been a long road. I have had my papers bounced around through 5 historians on this. Either passing away, unable to handle the job, or just an interim historian. But anyway.... it's approved. Janean
Congratulations! I have just had my first bounce as no one has tried to prove my particular Soule line before. Now I'm running into the "missing vital records" issue (which I'd actually been running into before I submitted - I submitted in the hopes someone had proven the missing bits before me). So, as one just starting to one just finished - great job!
