    1. Re: [MFLR] Use of Tombstone Photos to Prove Ancestry?

    3. Good point. However, in our case, the ashes were scattered on beachfront property that was a summer house; the stained glass was at the family church in the "year-round" town, much more inland, so hurricanes are not really an issue. Of course, a stained glass window like that is only an obvious clue to the fact that the church's records probably also contain all that information as well (in my case they do, since my family has attended that church for generations). If you happen to know where your ancestors worshipped, church registers can also be a very valuable source of birth/marriage/death information. Alice, here it is blevins@alumni.cofc.edu 110 Evergreen Way Villa Rica, Georgia 30180. As for stained glass at a church on the beach, Document it elsewhere if its a hurricane prone area. Photographs to some historical societies or libraries or in with genealogical proofs. I have an ancestor memorialized under a window in a church in Charleston where he preached for years. Linda, I found a pretty good genealogy on line of the Kingsburys and I have a printout here.I think it had some proofs listed in it as well. By fluke I found a Kingsbury genealogy in the Carrollton libray in Carroll County, Georgia where a branch of that family which would be possiby distant cousins to me settled. Let me know if you need a look up as I go near there reguarly. Ernie On Wed, Jun 25, 2008 at 4:39 PM, A.lice Williams <aliceholt6@comcast.net> wrote: > Do you have email address for Blevins?
