    3. Hi Lois, You seem to be missing a generation or two in your Job Simmons line. I have a Job Simmons as the son of Moses Simmons and Patience Barstow. He was born on 10 Apr 1674 in Scituate, MA and married on 15 Jun 1700 to Hannah Bishop. I do not have any more information on him. I was not able to access this link: http://www.rootsweb.com/~mabridge/mitchell/contents.html Moses Simmons is supposed to have been born in Leyden on 1 Jan 1604. I wish there were more baptism records for these families. 3. Does anyone notice (or care) that the Moses Simmons who married Patience Barstow - if we go with the dates given by Lois, seems to have married at the age of 5? "Born abt 1639, Married abt 1644). Just curious. Polly On Jun 9, 2008, at 6:53 AM, Richard Hayes wrote: > Hi Lois, > > You seem to be missing a generation or two in your Job Simmons line. 3. Thanks, Richard, and that might explain why my dates are not meshing. Here is Dale H. Cook's Plymouth Colony website, and you can get to his Bridgewater, MA website this way. Arrow down below the picture of the Alden house and click on "Books Online." The second paragraph has Nahum Mitchell's book. http://plymouthcolony.net/ Lois ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Hayes" <RichardAHayes@comcast.net> To: <mayflower@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, June 09, 2008 8:53 AM Subject: Re: [MFLR] Male Simmons > Hi Lois, > > You seem to be missing a generation or two in your Job Simmons line.
