I haven't been following this thread, but I guess my ears must have been burning as I looked at that message. As the editor of the online edition of Mitchell's "History of Bridgewater" let me note that there are many errors in Mitchell. Despite that it can still be useful. However, a much better account of Moses and Sarah (___) Simonson, in-laws of Patience (Barstow) Simonson, can be found in Vol. 3 of Robert Charles Anderson, "The Great Migration Begins: Immigrants To New England 1620-1633," 3 Vols. (Boston: New England Historic Genealogical Society, 1995; CD-ROM, Orem, UT: MyFamily.com, Inc., 2000). As far as the link to Mitchell going bad, most of the town sites for Plymouth County, as well as the county site, moved to my new domain earlier this year. That move was noted here and on many other mailing lists when it occurred. Since I haven't been following the thread, and since I do have Anderson, are there any questions I can answer about the Simonsons from that work or from other works in my library? Dale H.
