Good morning Bill, Your message: "What I do NOT know is the pedigree of Thomas WESTON. " This is not an answer to your problem but perhaps it will give you a little more information. Interesting that a will is mentioned with Prudence as administrator and perhaps available. According to the Samuel Weston manuscript: Thomas Weston: This man seems to have been the first Thomas of that family name who appeared in Plymouth or Duxbury. Davis says perhaps he was a son of Elnathan and Jane. Elnathan Weston's will is very explicit, and makes no mention of a son Thomas, although this Thomas was living when that will was written. There is no record when or where this Thomas was born, or from whence he came, nor of who his parents were. He appears to have been born about 1700, he married (1) 1723 Mary Howland. She was b. 1702, dau. of Nathaniel and granddau. of Joseph Howland 2d of Plymouth. She d. before 1730 and he marr. (2) Prudence Conant, dau. of Josiah Conant. He had a family of one son and two daughters. He d. Plymouth 1743 and his widow Prudence was appointed administrator. By first wife Mary, he had a son Thomas who was b. 20 March 1725; d. 23 June 1725. By 2d wife Prudence he had a dau. Mary who m. 22 Nov. 1753 William Weston of Plympton, son of Benjamin and, his 2d wife, H! annah ( Coomer) Weston. [there is no other daughter listed as indicated above] NOTE: There was a Thomas Weston in Boston by some persons supposed to have been a son of the above Thomas of Plymouth but the compiler lists unable to find that the Boston Thomas was ever in the Plymouth or Duxbury area or had any relation or connection. Thomas Weston of Boston m. 20 Dec. 1751 Isabella Campbell. Relatively yours, Muriel Curtis Cushing
