Here is the problem I have with these lines......mine is *not* the Judah Washburn who married Priscilla Sampson (the one who inevitably pops up when I do internet searches) I still need to "prove" the birth and marriage dates I have for Deborah Marsh. I have sent to NEHGS for a research hour and they came up with Deborah's birth and marriage dates listed in The Chapin Book, compiled by Gilbert Warren Chapin, but these are unsourced. There was also a Boston Transcript column in the NEGHS findings that had the dates "from a family bible". Would that be enough to be accepted by the Mayflower Society? Dianne, Deborah Marsh is the spouse of the line carrier, therefore if you have a secondary source family history as proof of her birth, that should be fine. And, the citation of a family bible in a Boston Transcript column should be sufficient to prove their marriage. It would help support these sources if you had Judah's will or probate records which named wife Deborah. Susan E.
