    1. [MFLR] Thomas Standish
    2. Hi Standish researchers, I was wondering if there is someone who has access to the "silver books" who could tell me if Thomas Standish (b. 1610-1612, d. 5 Dec 1693) has ever been accepted by the Mayflower Society as a son of Myles Standish by his first wife Rose. If so, did Thomas, who married Sarah Beldon, have a daughter named Isabell? (b.19 Feb 1726). Thanks for any help. Marge **************Ideas to please picky eaters. Watch video on AOL Living. Marge - I don't have that Silver Book handy, but the facts likely haven't changed. No evidence has been found to connect him with the Captain, and he was not named in Myles' will. Dale H. 3. Marge: I checked the Standish Silver Book in my local library (I will send you my results) for Bradford's entries on Myles Standish. Bradford's account says "Captain Standish his wife dyed in the first sickness; and he married again, and hath four sons living, and some are dead". Standish' first wife was Rose _________, d. 29 Jan, 1621. Second wife Barbara, who arrived on the "Anne", d. after 6 Oct 1659. Children (w/Barbara): Charles, b. ca. 1624; Alexander b. ca 1626; John b. bef. May 1627; Myles b. ca 1629; Lora b. aft. 22 May 1627; Josiah, b ca 1633. Alexander (above) married Desire Doty. Their tenth child was named Thomas, b. 29 Jan 1690 and is listed as Standish family number 13 which I can mail to you. There is a possibility that both the Standish and Doty family organizations may have further information on this marriage. Regards, JC3 On Thu, Feb 21, 2008 at 1:46 AM, Dale H.
