Samuel Samson and Eddy family Very interesting discussion relative to Samuel Samson and the Eddy family: [MFLR] Samuel Sampson and the Eddy family. In 2007, I and Lucina Verish published a 2-part article entitled "On the Ezekiel Samsons in the Revolutionary War"* in The Samson Kindred*. The Massachusetts/New York (Private) Ezekiel Samson line is well known. The New Jersey/New York (Lieutenant) Ezekiel Samson line is less well known. Of interest is that the Massachusetts/New York Ezekiel Samson descends through Obadiah Samson while it is suggested that the New Jersey/New York Ezekiel Samson descends through Samuel Samson. As noted before, Obadiah and Samuel are mentioned in the Will of Samuel Samson, dated 31 August, 1744. I would appreciate knowing if anyone involved in the preceding discussion or elsewhere has firm (e.g., court or civil record) that would identify the maiden name of the wife of the New Jersey/New York Ezekiel Samson, e.g., Rachel (Carter) Samson, Rachel (Tichenor) Samson, Rachel (Janson) Samson, or?
