I have 3 pink books. Henry Samson from 1995 and William Brewster from 1997 are "upside down". I have a William Brewster 5th generation (Jonathan) from 1999 and it is the right way. Lucy
Something tells me this is just going to remain one of "life's little mysteries." :-) It appears to be the later or current editions that are printed that way, such as my 2006 edition of "Jonathan" received yesterday that IS upside down, along with the Bradford "silver book" received a year or two ago. Once and for all let's end this! The complete series of all current 5-generation hard cover books and MFIP soft cover books (with the exception of William Brewster - Jonathan 1999) sitting on my bookshelf are, as they are being called here, "upside down." Perhaps those of us who do genealogy like our source books "upside down." Regardless, they still "work." Craig, please put the brakes on this. :) Stacy Wood -----Original Message----- From: mayflower-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:mayflower-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of David E. Are the "upside down" books by any chance produced in Europe? In France, for example, the "upside down" orientation of the spine title is the "normal" orientation for all books.
