    3. No, this Robert Soule lives in Fresno, CA.. You can tell him I would love to see his genealogy line. If you want to talk to him, let me know and I'll check with him. He is having some problems remembering, but not the stuff that happened long ago. Our Soule's came from MA to OH his family went to OR then CA and mine went to IL to CA. My great grandmother's name was Georgie(a) May Soule, she married Charles Hurdle in IL.. It is a great story.... I'm also descended through George Soule and have a cousin, Robert - who lives in Michigan. I'd be interested to know if it's the same Robert Soule as I'll be up there in a few weeks. 3. Hi Dianna: I was talking with Scott Mc Kay lately and he told me that you had postponed your surgery. I hope that means that your condition has improved. I am in the middle of 6 weeks of physical therapy for a knee condition. The orthopedist recently x-ray both of my knees and diagnosed gonarthrosis in both knees. This means that there is little or no cartilage left in either knee. He said that bilateral knee replacement is in my future - but placed no timeline on it! He also said that he believed that 6 weeks of PT would relieve my pain. He was right re: my right knee that I consulted him about. It no longer hurts - but every muscle in my left leg ached the morning after my first visit to therapy. Later other muscles in my right leg also hurt - and after 1 session out of the water (riding a recumbent bicycle for 5 minutes) my neck and shoulders hurt, too. So I am now back in aquatic therapy again (1 hour of aerobics twice a week). I am bicycle for 10 minutes pain free in the water. In your reply to Polly Hall-Burley I noticed that you state you are a Soule descendant, too. Are you going to the Soule Kindred in America reunion in Plymouth, MA in September? If so, I'll get to meet you then. I am planning to drive there from my home in NC. I'll take 2 1/2 days to make the trip - and I expect that the scenery will be beautiful. I was there 6 years ago with my husband. It will be different without him but I am rooming with Sue Eisdorfer (a Soule cousin that I met two years ago). She is the hostess for the event and I will help her with welcoming, registration, and hospitality. She is a Mayflower Society officer from NJ. We will meet the day after the Mayflower Society meetings conclude. I hope to meet some FCS members if they attend. Scott is unaware if any of the FCS member so plan to attend. I am pleased that you are persevering in getting the 6th and 7th Cooke generations sorted out. I may peruse Mayflower membership in the near future. I believe that I can gather all the documents that I will need to apply. A Soule cousin has most all that are needed and I have the others that I believe I will need to get in on that line. Kindest regards, Judy Hughes 12th generation Soule descendant 11th generation Francis Cook descendant, too; as well as descendant of Alden, Allerton, Cooke, Hopkins,Mullins, Samson, Standish, and Warren

    3. I apologize to all who received the message that I posted at 3:58 pm today. It was intended as a personal message to only one person. I was unaware that it would be posted to the Mayflower list. Please excuse my error.
