And, the correction to the Cooke Silver book: Mary WHEELER Reed as her second husband, married John Dyer, miller, of Bristol, RI. It was NOT her daughter Mary Reed who married John Dyer. Daughter Mary (of John Reed and Mary Wheeler Reed) married her first cousin, John Martin of Barrington, RI and had issue. John and Mary (Reed) Martin are my Gr-Gr-Gr-Gr Grandparents. Mary WHEELER's son Joseph Reed m. John Dyer's daughter (by his first wife Sarah Bowerman), Mary. Joseph and Mary (Dyer) Reed's daughter Sarah Reed m. her first cousin Benjamin Martin, son of John and Mary (REED) Martin.
