    3. Thank you. All I know is that my grgrgrandmother was Electa Reed born1800 in Ct. I'm in hopes that Santa is going to give me a subscription to NEGHS. I've heard they have a lot of info on NE ancestors. Merry Xmas. Some of the children of William and Esther/Hester (Tomson) Reed settled in the Bridgewater area, especially in Old Abington, and had numerous descendants in that area, and other children of William and Esther remained in Weymouth. 2. I'm getting through to the sail1620 site again. This morning it worked, but then stopped working, but now, eight hours later, it seems to be restored. I guess I won;t figure it out, but Harlow's comments seem likely to be correct. Emily, - glad you like the book. Guess I'll go write some more. 1. [MFLR] Dr. Bangs' computer problem
    2. Harlow Chandler
    3. Perhaps this explains the situation. This is some of the information on the site found at Whois.net: Domain ID:D15518073-LROR Domain Name:SAIL1620.ORG Created On:17-Dec-1999 23:30:28 UTC Last Updated On:19-Dec-2006 16:02:53 UTC Expiration Date:17-Dec-2007 23:30:28 UTC Note the dates--if Dr. Bangs is no longer experiencing the problem I would guess he hit the site at an awkward moment and the notice was legitimate though perhaps an error. It would seem unlikely that anyone would bother to redirect from this site, as opposed to Dr. Bangs' bank for example, nor does this sound like a hijacked browser as everything else works fine. If the problem recurs it might be wise to examine the address bar carefully and check what is there against www.whois.net, but it sounded as though the site was selected from a favorites list, so there should have been no error entering the address. If the problem persists, take two aspirin and call me in the morning.

    2. I fear Lois is correct Jeremy and that web-site has been "hi-jacked" and you are receiving a redirect to another. I would run a virus scan, then if you use Spy Sweeper, run a scan for all hackers, back doors, etc., with that. If you do not use Spy Sweeper I believe you can still run a scan from the rootsweb.com site for free to be sure your system is clean. Best of luck Linda > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Tuesday, December 19, 2006 8:25 PM > Subject: Re: [MFLR] sail1620 domain has expired! > > > > Hi, Rick. > > Thanks for letting me know. 1. [MFLR] GSMD Has Announced Publication of Vol. 20, Part 3, of Pilgrim Henry Samson Genealogy
    2. Stacy Wood
    3. Descendants of Pilgrim Henry Samson and his assumed first cousin Abraham Sampson, may be interested to know of the availability from the General Society of Mayflower Descendants (www.Mayflower.org <http://www.mayflower.org/> ) of the final part, Part 3, of its 5-generation series, Volume 20: "Family of Henry Samson." This part, compiled by Jane Fletcher Fiske, Robert Moody Sherman, and Ruth Wilder Sherman, covers the descendants of children Stephen and Caleb. Daughter Mary, who married John Summers/Somers, apparently had no children. The Pilgrim Henry Samson Kindred (PHSK) is working to complete the additional generations of both Pilgrim Henry and Abraham. The former, using documented lineage papers, will eventually be published. The latter will be added to the Abraham Sampson source database and added to the PHSK Website's downloadable "Abraham Sampson Descendants." Those wishing further information about the Pilgrim Henry Samson Kindred are invited to visit its website www.PilgrimHenrySamsonKindred.org <http://www.pilgrimhenrysamsonkindred.org/> or to e-mail [email protected] Stacy Wood, PHSK Newsletter Editor
