    1. [MAXWELL-L] Mary MAXWELL - 1910 OBIT - Greene County Ohio
    2. XENIA DAILY GAZETTE TUESDAY - JULY 5, 1910 XENIA, OHIO GREENE COUNTY Mrs. CAVANAUGH'S mother dies Monday Mrs. James MAXWELL, a former Xenian woman, dies in Washington C.H. at a ripe old age. Mrs. Mary A. MAXWELL, wife of James MAXWELL, a former well known Xenian, died on Monday, July 4th, at her home in Washington C.H., at the advanced age of 81 years. Mrs. MAXWELL had been in failing health for a number of months. Her death was due directly to uremic poisoning and was hastened by the ravages of old age. She also suffered a slight stroke of paralysis during the period of her long illness. Mrs. MAXWELL was the mother of Mrs. Martha CAVANAUGH of Xenia, who tenderly cared for her during the last two months of her life. Although Mrs. MAXWELL moved from Xenia to Washington C.H. over 25 years ago, she will be remembered by a number of Xenians who will be sorry to learn of her death. She was born in Ireland and came to this country when a young woman and settled in Xenia. Her marriage to Mr. MAXWELL took place and they made their home here for many years thereafter. The deceased is survived by her husband and 3 children as follows: Mrs. Martha CAVANAUGH, of Xenia, William MAXWELL, of St. Louis, and Mrs. Nannie E. BARR, of Cedarville. The funeral services will take place in Washington C.H. Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The remains will be taken directly from the depot to the cemetery. I have no connection to the MAXWELL surname. I found this obit and just wanted to pass it on. Debbie ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
