Hi Maxwell Listmembers, As of now, the list is open for discussion as normal. I have just talked (telephone) to Don Maxwell, and we are both in agreement to follow the Rootsweb.com AUP of no mention of money. I am sure that Don's fist mail yesterday that did mention money was due to ignorance of the AUP, as some others are as well. I've had mail asking what it is, where it is, etc. I am further convinced that Don's intentions were not to break the AUP, had he known about it. Since most of us are in agreement to this, I will state here, that anyone who sends inflamatory, argumentative mail that comes across the list on this subject, will be put on the 'reject list', where you can get email, but not post. Flame me privately if you must - I'm used to it, and the delete key works real good. To those who requested that I deny the discussion of DNA at all, please give it a chance to see what develops. After talking to Don, I'm convinced that the intent isn't to replace what we know as the papertrails we strive to prove, but to offer yet another tool to tell you where the papertrails should be. I have also offered to Don, and as I understood it, he agreed, that should the complaints become too much, we would look into yet another list for the DNA discussion. If you try to contact Don, he was having connection problems, so might not be able to correspond in a timely manner. Hopefully (by now?) he has that straightened out.
