    3. Jan, I'd be willing to bet the Jesse and George Maxwell you listed are sons of David Maxwell and Nellie McCullough. George and Jesse Maxwell were early settlers of TN.     3. They could be, I just don't know. I can't seem to get past my James b. 1820 Caldwell Co., Ky. My guess is that his family was in Tn. prior to Ky. then Ala. and Pope Co., Il. , but I have nothing to connect with. I keep hoping that someone will help me be able to connect the dots.
