Josette , I think you could be correct about what looks like an "f" being an "s". Martha's surname being " RUSSELL " makes more since than "Rufsell". Their writting back in those days is like my writting these days. If someone wants to post the information on the Russell newsletter be my guest. At this time my wife's Family Tree does not have a Maxwell or Russell surname. The bible has been in the family a very long time. I just made the post to try to help someone. John
