Walter had four brothers and a sister as I remember but all were out of Charlotte by the 1970's except for Walter. I will keep you p;osted Ralph Maxwell ----- Original Message ----- From: "Josette L. 3. Well Kate: Not wanting to open any cans of worms regarding genetics as I have met Maxwells from different lines as far as Maxwells who originated from the parts of the country, I have met only one with red hair and well if my biology classes were correct there is a good chance I need to be keeping in touch with you as well; though, the names do not ring a bell from any conversations I have had with relatives. What part of the world are you in and what part of the world would Arthur have been born in or settled in as well as Martin. Thanks Ralph Maxwell ----- Original Message ----- From: <MKCTX@aol.com> To: <MAXWELL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 03, 2002 5:08 PM Subject: [MAXWELL-L] Re: redheads > > In a message dated 9/3/2002 3:15:47 PM, MAXWELL-D-request@rootsweb.com writes: > > <<Josette, > > No I do not. 3. While I did not meet by G grandfather (died1908 in AL, the description handed down was " he was a red haired Scotchman". He was James W. Maxwell, b in SC, son of William. I haven't been able to go back further.
