I'm still trying to find the parents of Wiley Pemberton Maxwell, born in MS, 1830; died in LA, 1902. Because of Wiley's middle name, I've tried to find a connection to Rev. Thomas Maxwell and Mary Pemberton--without success. Recently I was given information stating that tutorship of Wiley Maxwell was granted to Daniel Johnson, William Johnson as surety. (The information came from _Early Records of Georgia_, vols. 1 and 2, pp. 124, 251, 447, no date.) Another bit of new information states that James Arnold was administrator of the estate of Wylie Maxwell, deceased, dated 16 June 1843. Can anyone provide additional information on either Wylie/Wiley Maxwell of Wilkes Co. or on Wiley P. Maxwell of MS/LA? Thanks-- Maude Ann
