I've been unsuccessfully in locating further data on my grandfather, James MAXWELL, listed in the 1900 Washington Co., Al., census. He married Bertha KELLY about 1890 and they had three children: James Albert Maxwell, b. 10 July 1893, d. 5 June 1922 Ola and Ila (twins) b. Jan. 1897 James died sometime around 1910, either in a hunting or train accident, and Bertha remarried Jesse B. Wallace and moved to Perry Co., Ms. with the twins, Ola and Ila. I've been unable to find James in earlier or later census records. In the 1900 census he was listed as "farmer" but family tradition (and some pictures) have it that he was a clerk/accountant with a railroad. Any help or hints any kind soul can provide would be immensely appreciated.
