Does anyone have info on James Maxwell b. ca. 1820 Ky. d. ca. 1846 Al., m. Rebecca Jones b. ca. 1820 death unknown. They had about 7 children; one of them was my gggrandmother, Consada Maxwell. Any help appreciated. Jan

Jan, I only have four (4) Maxwell's in my files. And they were all in Ky. Around Grayson, Ohio, and Bullitt co. Ky. Hamilton Maxwell b. abt. 1828 ?, His son Joseph F. Maxwell b. abt. 1850 ?, Joseph's children William Albert Maxwell, 12-15-1874 and Ollie Maxwell. Abt. 1877. Joseph F. Maxwell was married to my G Grandmother Rebecca S Grant for nine (9) years before she married my Great Grandfather Lewis B. Grant. Do you know where in KY. your James was born, and or lived? And or the names of his siblings? I have no other info on the Maxwell lines. But, am actively looking!!!!!!!!!! L. I've been told that he was born in Caldwell Co., Ky. and died in Jackson Co., Al. His wife, Rebecca Jones, was b. in Tn. or Ga. I know this isn't much, but it's all I have. Nothing on sibs. I do not know where Caldwell Co. is located in the state. I do know that there is a very close connection between people in southern Il., especially Hardin, Pope, and Johnson Cos. with Ky., as it is right across the river - Paducah in particular.
