    3. Larry: hope you don't mind if I jump in on this Maxwell line. I'm researching my gggrandfather (James Maxwell; born 1822?) who married Mary Conway (born 1827?) and somehow ended up in Genesee NY where my ggrandfather (Thomas Conway Maxwell) was supposedly born. Family ultimately ended in Hamilton Twp, Van Buren County, Michigan. My ggrandfather supposedly worked for the railroad and raised his family near Tyndall, Bon Homme County, South Dakota. Ring any bells??? My thanks for listening/reading. I copied this file at the University of West Florida Library. It gives a ship name in their book, but not on what I have. It's really looking as though a lot of early Maxwell's may have entered un-recorded or with documentation lost. My list was complied by several researchers from the UWF who update the books every year and have been doing so since the 1980's. Its a two volume set each year with three columns per page small print with 94 to over 100 names per column, threes right at three hundred Maxwell's on the list with the earliest in 1607 up to 1907. I'll keep you posted if I find a Henry, what era are you looking for? The Maxwell you found in PA in 1711 what was his name? Larry W.
