I just read about your book. I have been looking for years to find the parents of William Maxwell m 1786 to Lucy Toliver b 1766. Their daughter Sarah was born in N.C. in 1793. Both William and Lucy died inb 1832 in Indiana. Do you show any info about this family? Thanks Cleona
Cleona: I don't have anything on your line, however in my book which is mainly the Rev. Thomas Maxwell and Mary Pemberton line there will be a chapter or two on other Maxwell lines. Would you like to send me your complete file to add to the book giving you the credit for the research. I have received several other lines and pictures to add in. This will be posted on a web site or sent out by mail on CD's, with only charge for actual S&H. This isn't a money making deal, beside you spend more money publishing genealogy books then you can make, due to the limited buying public. I just enjoy searching the Maxwell lines and helping others. Maxwells; My gr gr grandmother was Susannah (Hannah?)Maxwell b 4 Feb 1787. Her father was Patrick Maxwell. She was baptized in Mercersburg Presby Church 16 Jun 1774, her brother William was baptized 5 Jan 1779. Patrick was son of Major William Maxwell. His children were Hannah Elizabeth Maxwell b 11 Aug 1808, James Huston Maxwell b 16 Oct 1810. There is some confusion and the thought that Susannah and Hannah are the same person. Can anyone help me?
