This is my first time to post. I am seeking information on Maurice Cleburn Maxwell, my grandfather, and his line. I have hit a dead end. This is what I have: >From 1900 Census - Grayson Co., TX William H. Maxwell b. Nov 1851, age 48, Married 27 yrs., born TN, parents b. TN America (White) b. 1853, age 47, born TN, parents b. TN Ora L. 1881, 19 yrs., b. TN Kittie D. Aug 1883, 16yrs., b. TN (m. J H Lawson) Maurice C., Feb 1886, 14yrs, b. TN Daisy D., Jan 1888, 12yrs, b. TN (m. Smith) Willie, Apr 1890, 10 yrs, b. TN Lewis (Grant) 1896, 3yrs, b. TX James A., Nov 1898, 1yr., b. TX Both William and America's parents were b. in TN.America had had 11 children, 10 living. 3 are not listed; one was William Thomas (m. Florence) found in 1910 TX Census. I believe the other two are; Nell (m. R. Brewer) and Eula (m. Charles W. Bledsoe) Sometime between 1888 and 1890 the family moved from TN to TX. William H. Maxwell and America White were married Dec. 24, 1871 in Marshall Co. TN., died about 1904 in Grayson, Sherman Co., TX. Maurice born (from death Cert.) Lewisburg, Marshall Co., TN., 1st wife, Daisy A. Gover, b. May 17, 1888 in Brown Co., TX, m. Jan 1, 1908 in Anson, Jones Co., TX; 2nd, Thelma in Sherman Co, TX. He died Sept 4, 1953 and is buried at West Hill Cemetery. I have looked in all Censuses for Marshall Co., TN for all yrs that apply. I have the LSD CD's for Census 1880 and there is nothing in any state. I would appreciate ANY information. Myra Fendley
