Did you see the posting on Capt. John Maxwell. On the Morris Co., N. J. GenWeb site under "The First Settlers of Passaic Valley", by John Littell. Click there, when that opens go down to Maxwell and click there. It will open up to the Maxwell family line. Then follow up on Elizabeth Kirkpatrick who married John Maxwell believe the first but might be the second.
