I have Maxwells in KY as well. JAMES MAXWELL Sr. & Jr. both in Louisville in the 1st half of the 1800's. Jr. died ca. 1848 (was married in 1840 to Caroline I have been unable to find out where the family came from or the elder James' wife's name. My interest in the Maxwell's is the two sons of Joseph and Rebecca.
