I have been burned so many times subscribing to data sources only to find out it's of no use, thought I'd inquire whether anyone has paid the thirty dollars to access to UK/Scotland/Ireland probate and parish records on ancestry.com and would look up something for me. There are "hits" for Henry Maxwell in Ireland and Scotland but I'll bet anything they are all 1800s rather than anything before 1760 which is why I'm hesitant to spend the money.
